Dienes' Laser Guided Knife Holders
      
In response to customer inquiries to assure accurate crush knife positioning, Dienes Corporation has integrated a laser light onto their standard Model PQAS 1/2" Crush Cutting knife holder. Utilizing a manual On-Off switch the holder's laser beam provides a focal point for operators to position the knife cutting tip to follow a web print or crease line. Finding the exact point to engage the knife cutting edge is now simple and fast in these and other applications.

The PQAS-Laser holder retains the same mounting design and half-inch minimum slit width as the standard PQAS holder; making it directly exchangeable for upgrading your knife set-up arrangement. 

The PQAS-CD Adjusting Knife Holder
      
Cross machine (CD or TD) web shifting prior to the cut can change important knife-to-print/crease line relationships. Cross machine (CD) web shifting after the cut can cause slit-edge-to-core misalignment. In both cases these (CD) web shifts can lead to defective roll goods.

Dienes Corporation is please to introduce a possible solution; the PQA-CD Adjust Crush Cutting knife holder. The PQA-CD Adjust crush holder's side mounted dial provides the ability to make manual slit width changes that potentially save finished roll goods and your company considerable money.

There's no need to remove the holder from its mounting arrangement to make up to 0.060" (1.5mm) (CD) location changes. The PQAS-CD holder has a 0.75" (19mm) minimum slit width and is interchangeable to the standard Dienes PQAS half inch crush knife holder.
